One of South Lake Tahoe’s premier lake front communities is Cascade Properties. Exclusively located in a gated community 5 miles north of the Y, this is the closest residential area near Emerald Bay. Many perks come with this neighborhood such as privacy, beach access, private boat docks for some and a HOA maintained pier for others. Also maintained by the HOA are roads, snow removal and water. Other natural features that can be found in the Cascade Properties are granite boulders, soaring pine trees and a nearby 200 foot high waterfall.
